i hear you dude. brock comes from an entertainment background with wrestling. he made what some could say was a mistake with treating MMA like wrestling and creating a bad guy persona for himself. BUT the argument can be made that it was the same bad ass persona that made him a household name. the man is evolving as a fighter no doubt. i do agree the hate has to stop. what he accomplished is tough tough tough no matter how you look at it.

full respect Suleiman. i came in here after reading the topic and i thought you were gonna be a jackass. great analogy about walking in wilderness and forcing fighters to use open hand strikes. i would love to see the real bare fist fighting too but man that would be seriously bad for the sports. however, the point of these battles is all about the person with the better argument and not my personal opinion, otherwise i wouldn't even need to watch what you guys have to say. i would just vote for the against position BUT in this case i think Suleiman has the better argument so my vote goes to him.

this is a tough one to decide. i know the whole steriod argument is very valid but the only reason this is a tough one for me is because just because you take steriods it doesnt make you automaticaly hit 600 home runs. i cant stand that SOB but you got a give it to him, he can knock them out of hte park. im gonna hold my vote will i hear the final rebuttlas. good battle.

Price i wanna hear sold rebuttal dude. I agree with vancan on this one. Turcos credits are all from his prime. BUT.....

Marty Turco is 262-154-63 in 509 regular-season games. He has goals-against average of 2.31 along with 40 shutouts. Last he went for 22-20-11 with a 2.72 goals-against average. He also has four shutouts and 0.913 save percentage to his credit. bottom line, so with that said, i do think that niemi is a one hit wonder and the hawks made the right choice by taking the experience of turco over him. so far my vote is for price.

gilly i like how your breakin it down man but i still agree with EG about MJ jumping ship if he was played somewhere else and he felt that there was no way of winning with the team.

i dont think US has a shot at winning it all but honestly speaking this is a messed up world cup with all the power houses under performing. im impressed with the US performance but the goal against UK was just luck. the goalie pretty much gave that one away. i'd love to see US win it but i just dont think its realistic
