The facts are that the Raptors didn't have the right assets to make a solid trade. Calderon was BC's best asset, but he's been injury prone lately and he's hasn't played all that well. So maybe we should add in some expiring contracts? Probably. But, the expiring contracts weren't big enough for other teams to bite. In my opinion, the best move BC made was not making a move until the off-season, once the CB4 situation is answered.

If true, Amir Johnson was probably a deal break for BC because without Amir Johnson, the Raptors DO NOT have a LEGIT, SOLID player to BACK-UP AND RELIEVE 2 of our best scorers in the season who happen to be Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani. BC doesn't want Crittenton probably because of the gun incident and he's suspended, plus Rasho or Reggie aren't reliable enough on both ends of the court to help out the Raptors finish off the season strong, let alone win a playoff round. Also, Amir has played surprisingly well giving good rest minutes for Bosh and Bargnani. So what to do? Hmmm...

I'm a huge GamePoint fan, and I'm glad his supporters helped come through for him with some last minute voting. I guess some advertising to let fans know wouldn't hurt either. I don't about you, but I remember him having more votes than 20 at the end of yesterday. Also, how can you say GamePoint was the clear cut loser in this round. Do you even watch or pay attention to basketball, or do you just vote. To say he was the clear cut loser just goes to show how much you don't know about basketball and how things work. Dilly made some good points, but the deals for Martin or Butler were not reasonable or likely. BC probably offered "let's try my luck, and hopefully I rip them off" trade - it wasn't going to happen, nor was it nessasary considering that CB4 himself said it's best not to make a trade. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but you probably did since you payed attention to the GP's vote count, but Dilly lost some votes. Only cheaters lose at the end of the day...

In my opinion, I think people aren't voting for the person who makes the best argument. I think that either A) people are voting out of ignorance. The Raptors were never in a good running for either Butler or Martin. They simply didn't have anything of value to offer compared to a few other teams. B) people are voting for their own personal opinion instead of the person who actually makes the better argument. For example, in hindsight people think a trade should've happened to make the push for playoffs because since the trade deadline, the Raptors have been losing and not playing as well as before the deadline. In terms of the arguments sake, the person who is making the better points and counter-points should win. In this case, it's Gamepoint hands down.

@NimzRapz, my good buddy! I totally agree with you. Gamepoint should be winning because he makes the best argument. How Dilly is winning is beyond me. Dill is throwing some good jabs, but Gamepoint is countering back with some uppercuts like shoryukens

Chris Bosh is "overall" the best PF in the NBA. Duncan is old, and not playing as well as CB4; Dirk is all offense; Randolf has only played well this season; and Garnett is old, and not playing as well as CB4. The only thing CB4 needs to do is to get his team winning and past the 1st round.

"IF" Bosh stays, then this season is definitely not a failure, but still yet another disappointing season. If Chris re-signs for most likely the max as a Toronto Raptor, then he obviously believes in this team moving forward towards a championship and trusts BC. To BC, this season was all about retaining Bosh by whatever means. Therefore, if Chris re-signs, then to both himself and BC, this season was a not a fail.

Debate aspect to swag aspect, gamepoint wins hands down. This shouldn't even be this close. For murj, multiple accounts much... So far most of these comments below are in favor for GP, except for one named "khadeeja". How come murj's voters haven't made any comments?
