they are one of the main promotions from VANOC for everyone to have to show their support of canada, all the torch bearers wore them and they are perfect for showing where ur from and that u support the olympics

ya, on another not WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE THOSE MITS. when im walking around toronto i always see everyone with those red olympic mits. from toronto to van city everyone is wearing those. anyways RIP Nodar.
Yesterday, on the Opening day of the 21st Winter Olympic Games, Georgian Luger Nodar Kumaratashvili was killed after a training run that went amiss. This was a sad day and it hit home here where I am because I live in British Columbia, where the Olympics are being held and I have been waiting for these Olympics for a long time!
