Exactly. Iginla deserved more than a 2 minute tripping penalty. Iginla is a veteran and should know better than to put his stick in someone's feet when going into the boards. How would flames fans like it if Oilers played McIntyre in the next flames/edmonton game and he gave Iginla a concussion. I'd imagine they wouldn't like it at all. Iginla deserved a suspension...end of story.

hyaena you must be joking. did you watch the replay? he clearly stuck his stick in souray's skate. totally uncalled for when he knew damn well what that can do to a player. im a big iginla fan but that move was just simply stupid.

Both players hit the boards face-first after loosing footing on fresh ice. Totally clean as it wasn't even a "hit". Loosing your edge is not a crime. Iginla whines about what exactly? One of the best captains in the league.
