Jeepers Im late for this vid! I used that same analogy about shrinking Brock down on mmajunkie, Ive also been saying there that I think Brock having been able to become the UFC champ, just shows how bad the hw div still is. But people bashed my head off, and called me a troll, hater etc etc. Its lovely to see the internets nr 1 mma analyst by coincedence sharing my thoughts and what Ive been talkin about on mmajunkie for a while now!!! Big respect from Gothenburg Sweden man, where btw mma is growing growing growing!!!!!!!

I agree. The BIG difference in the wrestling. But, my whole point, is there are very few who can offer that threat. Probably three in total and you mentioned them. Other then that, Overeem is going to destroy anyone on the feet in the UFC. Cuz if they can't take him down, their going to sleep.

But if he had a chance to learn the right way, instead of being thrown to the wolves, maybe he'd know how to stop a punch without turning his back and closing his eyes. Or, maybe he wouldn't be ready to quit before 10 fights. BET he doesn't fight at the end of TUF13. And if he does it WILL be his last fight.

Brock is a great wrestler, but in MMA, we've seen him take down who? Mir? Who pulled guard? Herring?

But what happened against other wrestlers? He ran at Cain like an amateur. Old/ little Couture got back up and Carwin took him down... before gassing.

Do you really think Shaub can beat Fedor, Overeem or Werdum?

Prime Cro Cop couldn't beat Fedor. What is today's Cro Cop gonna do? Shaub would NEVER in a million fights beat Overeem, Fedor or Werdum. Same can be said for Mir and Nelson. And as for the "start" of Brock's career, it simply CAN NOT be compared to the others because MMA for him did not start the way it does for anyone else. Brock HAD to fight the top guys. And there were top guys. He wanted to ... but had no choice. The money he was being paid could not be put on an undercard. Fedor and every other MMA Vet had to WORK their way up the rankings and EARN a shot at the top guys. Nothing was GIVEN to them, like with so many UFC "Champs," most recently Brock.

It doesnt care against who did you lost. So lets look who did they won against. Rogers - Arlovski and ... thats it. Carwin fought and beat Gonzaga and Mir. Not much, but still its more than Arlovski.

For me the difference is the wrestling base of Carwin, wich gives him huge strategic advantage.

Hey huge fan and long time listener to your youtube videos.

I wouldnt call frank mir, brendan schaub, nelson, and even cro cop "filler guys." They all stand a chance of beating the top four guys you mentioned in strikeforce. I can't say the same for the "filler heavyweights" of strikeforce and the top four heavyweights of the UFC.

And I understand how you feel about lesnar but you didnt really give him credit for being a top notch wrestler, and if he started off like the top four heavyweights in strikeforce (especially fedor) he would be more well rounded and possibly be 15-0 or better.

lastly, cain v. doesnt need 20 wins to be the next fedor unless he moves to another org and beats 20 cans.

Other than that I agree with everything else; thanks for the vids

You have a good point.

Rogers has faced better competition, fought longer than 5 mins (with gas), survived the ground with Fedor, is six years younger and not in need of serious surgeries to fix his broken body.

I will not make that comparison again.
