Great video. I remember after watching UFC 86 I nearly wanted to quit watching mma. In my opinion, Rampage who is my all time favourite fighter, won the fight. So you can imagine how I was feeling after that. I think I went online for at least 3 hours and argued with wankers on sherdog until I felt better.

Karsten, you've got skills, ma dude. Judging is obviously paramount in a sport like MMA where there isn't an 82 or 162 game season to make up for bad calls. I just don't think that questionable judging on a sporadic basis will drive mma fans - even the hardcore ones - away from the sport. It's fully engrained in the hardcore fans and is much too powerful of a beast to just fade into the mist because of a few bad calls. MMA...it's important <-- love that

maybe the fact DW hasnt made an issue about the judging and always says how 'you cant leave it in the hands of the judges' is linked to the fact that the UFC is still only just being allowed to hold events in certain areas and he doesnt want to kick up a fuss with the various commissions. maybe when the UFC has more of a standing as a legit mainstream sport he will finally address this issue

well not my suggestion im about to say may not be so good for tv time and the commision may see it as a health and safety issue but how about eliminating judges altogether. Have fights go for unlimited 5 minute rounds, Fights can only finish by referee/doctor stopage, KO, any submission from either submission holds, strikes or exaustion/injury if a fighter can't answer to the bell for the next round. That would determine who the better fighter is and more importantly make a definite and uncontested winner for every fight. No more controversy.

I hate to say it two things are killing mma right of now....and they're the super wrestlers that can grind wins by laying and praying and playing it safe..but the truth is that only allowed to happen because the number one reason is the judges...Horrible Shogun vs Lyoto, Lyoto vs Rampage, Nam vs L..and the list goes on......We need to get rid of the boxing Judges they wrecked boxing and they're doing it to mma. Also lets bring in Knees when a fighter has one knee on the floor....bring back yellow and red cards...mma form your own judges please or im out.
