i agree with you. the final throphy should only be reserved for the winning team. No other throphy is treated that way.
Part of that is the NBA's policy about "involving" fans. they thnk this makes people part of the winning experience. its brutal. GO SPAIN ! soon to be World Cup Champions.
Some food for thought, I think I used revered appropriately.
