The Flyers and the Canadiens made it as far as they did because they played well at the right time. But, like the teams they played against, they too are inconsistent. Look at the Montreal-Flyers series: both are spoiler teams that no one expected would make it to the conference final. But that's the playoffs.

The Flyers have been strong so far and Leighton is on fire. Chicago will definitely have to work hard in this series because they are facing an amazing goalie. But I'm still in favour of Vince Vaughn and Chicago. It just feels right.

Disagree here. Philly's balanced offensive attack makes them a threat against anyone. I'll put Richard, Briere, Gagne, Carter, Girioux, and Leino against any top 6 in the league right now. Jeff Carter should be a bigger factor should they reach the finals. Oh and their back-end are playing phenomenal. Pronger is again proving that he is a playoff warrior averaging the most minutes in the playoffs by any player. Throw in Timonen, Carle, and Coburn who are also playing great and you've got a very underrated defense. You can hate on Leighton all you want but the numbers speak for themselves. It's not like Niemi is a proven goalie. Not to discredit Chicago but Vancouver and San Jose are not playoff contenders because they both rely on one line. The finals should probably go to at least 6 games and either team can win.
