Those in media or reporting know that as a general rule, you always have to quote your sources because anyone can be challenged at any point which is exactly what transpired between Steve and myself. I didn't agree with what Steve said so I forced him to be accountable. Openly sharing Maurizio's comments was a gesture of transparency on my part and its unfortunate that you feel I was being less than honest.

Greetings NimzRapz, - While on the surface, it appears that Maurizio's comments don't directly relate to the topic, they are very relevant as both Steve and I touched on the expectations of the team this season in our initial arguments. When I spoke to Maurizio at the START of the season, he provided the expectations of the team from an organizational standpoint which contradicted the facts that Steve put forth.

ya like steve said, you quoted that interview out of context. maurizio did not say in that quote that the season is a not a failure if they don't win, but you took that quote out of context.

Now, you can continue to replay old interviews and quote them out of context- from the best damn sports show to jesus himself- and suggest that they are directly related to the present moment and suggest that you are being credible and conducting good journalism- but we both know that aint cool and that if you worked in the real media, they would never let that slide.

the most important point is simply this- the voters will decide where the truth lay. And when they do, hopefully, you will be big enough to post another reply (your 4th or maybe 5th or 6th rebuttal by that time) that apologizes and acknowledges.

wow, how many rebuttals do you need to try and convince people that you should win?

While I, as a general rule, I don't tape my conversations, I have been very candid from the beginning about where the comments came from, how they were obtained, and their validity. They were from conversations NOT interviews.
