I have to agree, that was the best hockey i've watched in a few years.

@ Rodney - I agree..something needs to be done to change the game for the better. 82 games is way too much for one regular season. We would see much better hockey if that number was below 50 and there were fewer teams. As it stands right now...since Oilers are dead last and obviously purposely going for the first round draft pick, I haven't watched any of the regular season since the christmas break. (with the exception of a few periods of a couple games)

Yes, great games...best ever! I'm glad you're a hockey fan once again Megatron, but I suggest that you don't watch the NHL until the Stanley Cup finals. The Olympics are filled with Allstar teams, most of these players never fight on their respective NHL teams. All of the games are meaningful, especially the Quarter final games forward. NHL is a literal slugfest just to make the playoffs, and then a long haul to the Stanley Cup. I'm still going to disagree with you on the fighting for now, but there are some interesting questions to come from this. Shorter season? Less teams? Fewer playoff games? 20 games in 30 days for most of these teams, just like in 2006, the 2 healthiest teams may be the ones that go the deepest.
