WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS....MY FRIEND!!! and I'd like to be serious for a moment

I called it....as soon as Pittsburgh was booted out of the playoffs I called it. Saying that the blackhawks will be the new Stanley Cup champions....and it was done. THE CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS ARE THE NEW STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you very much. The Hossa curse has ended, Towes has his cup ring, and a team that has built up from crap to become one of the top teams in the NHL to win the cup just goes to show. All you need is a few young guys, a few good vets and you'll have yourself an unstoppable team.

Though I have to give some credit to philly...as much as I despise the team. They put up a fight, in the last 4 minutes of the 3rd period they did everything they could to stay in the game and they did. Hartnell tied the game and made it into a nail biting overtime. They did what they had to do...everyone knew that they weren't going to the win the cup. So what if they won game 6? Did anyone see game 5? When Chicago was at home, they defeated....no they CRUSHED philly in Chi-town. Game 7 would of been nice to see and I would of liked it to see it won in Chicago, but I'll take what I can get.

Though the funniest moment at the end of the game would of had to been the winning goal. Patrick Kane shoots, he scores...and the only person that knows...is Patrick Kane, the light didn't go off, no one save anything, but Kane was already celebrating. I'm sure everyone was going....uh what just happened? But when the smoked cleared, it was an obvious goal, and I jumped with joy :D. Then to find out, someone else who was cheering for Chicago decided to take a shot of 21, light it on fire and drink it while it's on fire...long story short...all his throat was burned and is now wrapped in bandages. Only in a small town while a guy light his throat on fire when his team wins the Stanley Cup.

Now that the Stanley Cup is over...I fear now I was half to write about....baseball.....THE HORROR! For those that know, I do hate baseball with a passion. But this year I am in luck....because of FIFA World Cup in South Africa, I'm wanting to see a few battles on here. I'm saying Argentina for the win. Brazil vs Argentina for the world cup....NOW THAT'S A FINAL! Make your picks boys, should be an interesting world cup...you never know who's going to win.

With all the sports talk now, I'd like to be a little serious for a moment. For those who don't know, around this time of year they have the Relay for Life. The Relay for life is a walk/run for Cancer and honoring those who are both survivors of cancer and those who we've lost....when I was 10 years old, I lost my grandmother to cancer. That was over 14 years ago, yet while at the Relay for Life, during when the candles were lit, I found out crying over my grandmother.....maybe it was because I no longer have any grandparents for they've all passed away. But yet I continue to move on, hoping that we can find a cure. So I'm saying now, for anyone on whotheman.com who has lost someone to cancer, I know how you feel, all we need to do is keep on running knowing that physically they may not be with us. But they'll always be in their hearts.

But now I need to get ready for the U.S.A vs England game...that's the game I want to watch. GO ENGLAND!!!! CRUSH THEM U.S! Until next time, it can all be yours, if the Price is Right
