Defending Anderson Silva
Clearly we know he doesn't need my help. As we witnessed his skills of movement, evasion, multiple fighting stances and sheer intensity. The first two rounds were out of this world. He was in a place that we have not seen another human be at. Do you get that??? That last three rounds he may have mind fucked himself cause of the state he achieve. It happens when you are on new territory. Consider this most fighter are busy protecting themselves from injury. The average man shakes in his boots when a buddy says "heard that guys tough, he wants to scrap with you." Yet Silva is in the ring vs a world class competitor and is having fun. He is so sure of himself... I want that.
Clearly he wanted Maia to hit him because he wasn't challenged. The fight was over in the 2nd round. Anderson Silva is the man and I respect your stance of fun when you know you can kill your opponent. Is GSP next or will Anderson have to take out the heavy weights?
What ever it is, I will continue to support his world class work.

You know, I think Anderson has the capability to really hurt someone and make a lasting change. I don't think he wants to live with that. When the other fighter can not compete with you the fight is over. Anderson should not have to fight until there is a worth opponent. Or if he is in a position where defeat is possible. Such as a fight with a heavy weight. That's how I feel about it and and Mr.Anderson (aka Neo) is in Universal Class with Alexander OvechKING, LBJ, Pac Man and maybe Simon Cowle, is that his name?

I paid money. I thought the Silva fight was better than the BJ Penn fight. Conterverse creates cash. I hope Anderson goes and knocks out some heavy weight asses.

good post dude but i have to disagree that in pro sports theres no room for clowning around like that. his fans pay good money to see him fight and he let them down. im a huge silva fan and i was very disappointed with him. Maia would have respect silva if he has just knocked him out instead of making a fool of him in front of his fans.
