Chris Bosh is "overall" the best PF in the NBA. Duncan is old, and not playing as well as CB4; Dirk is all offense; Randolf has only played well this season; and Garnett is old, and not playing as well as CB4. The only thing CB4 needs to do is to get his team winning and past the 1st round.

Hey Fresh20. Thanks for taking the time to reply again. I always enjoy talking Raptors ball. Again, you make good points, and I enjoyed reading them. I don't think we're too stubborn to be swayed - well maybe just a little lol - but we obviously have our opinions and are capable of communicating them efficiently. I appreciate your subjectiveness and ability to spot things that aren't as clear cut as I make them out to be. Don't hesitate to contact me with any possible topics and we can head into a battle in the near future. I'm sure it would be pretty fun.

Anyhow, I also don't think he carries the team mostly because of this years depth, in other years, yeah... he carried the team, he's easily the leader of the team, and arguably one of the best to don a Raptor's jersey. I also agree that we don't know what we've got until it's gone, and the day that he leaves, if he decides to leave, which I hope he doesn't, will be a really sad day for Raptor's fans. At this point, I think it's kind of obvious that we're too stubborn to be swayed in a different direction, haha, but I think at the end of the day, it's just not a clear-cut decision, like he could be arguably the best, not clearly the best.

With that being all said and everything though, I'm still not sold on this idea of him being the best right now, I think it's too hard to define one player in this position that clearly stands out above everyone else, especially when you still have your Duncan's and Nowitzki's to think about, who have really held superstar status for quite some time now. I'm not saying Bosh doesn't belong in this upper echelon of PF's, or that he should be excluded from talks about the best of the best, but when it's all said in done at the end of the day, I don't think there's a clear stand-out, not like Kobe Bryant or LeBron James, where they are clearly the best at their position at this time (although I can't say I'm a real fan of either one, but that's a completely different can of worms).

Hey GamePoint... definitely beat me on the lengthy reply, haha. Anyhow, I guess break-out year wasn't the proper term to use for him. In my opinion Bargnani would be having a break-out year, where he's finally coming into his own as the player we all hoped he'd become. I also agree that New Jersey sucks, pretty sure I even said that New Jersey sucks, and no offense to any of the Nets fans.... who am I kidding, they don't have any fans, and as for Washington, I don't think they completely screwed themselves over with all that trading, and I'm completely thankful for that deep bench. I think the biggest reason why the Raptor's have been so successful, is not because of new coaching roles, or because of Bosh being the strong leader that he is, or even the supporting players who are playing some terrific stuff, I think the main reason why this team has found so much success is because of Colangelo, that man is a genius.

and 0.1 blks. He's actually down in assists and steals. I mean, can we really call this a case of the "Contract Year" syndrome? 2 pts, 1 reb, and 0.1 blks increases? I don't think so. Players with that problem tend to play way above their averages. Chris Bosh has been putting up these crazy stats for the last 4 years. We really don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. I think this year is finally the year the Raps can claim to have someone on the "ALL-NBA First Team". It should be a fun to see how it plays out! Go Raptors!

With Bosh, I guarantee the game with Washington isn't as close as it was on Saturday night. Thankfully, we have good depth and were barely able to pull it out. 3. You brought up Bosh and his lack of playoff experience. I don't think playoff experience correlates with whether or not you're the best at your position. Ask 10 people who they think the best point guard is, and I will guess at least 7 of them will say Chris Paul. And his playoff experience isn't very impressive either. 4. I totally agree with you on the fact that Bosh is helping redefine the position. It's amazing to see. You named some excellent players. In my honest and humble opinion however, I think Bosh has the best variety of skills in his arsenal (range, rebounding, quickness, length, etc.) 5. He's having a career yes, but it's actually not a breakout year at all really. People may be quick to bust out "Contract Year", but if you compare CB's stats this year with last year, it's only an improvement of 2 pts and 1 reb

Hey Fresh20. Good lengthy reply. It's cool you took the time to put some thought into it. You make some interesting points, hopefully it's cool with you if I address them. 1. I didn't say he's the best PF in the league because of this season, it's actually been the last few seasons. A fact that often goes over people's heads sometimes is that this is Bosh's 7th season. I know, it doesn't even seem he's been in the NBA that long. 2. I think a majority of raptors fans would agree that Chris Bosh does carry this team a majority of the time. I wouldn't really call it "farfetched". You use NJ and the Wizards to make your point, but I'll use those same teams to make my point. C'mon now, those teams were NEW JERSEY and WASHINGTON!. New Jersey has a record of 5-51...and Washington just lost their entire starting lineup. Considering the Raptors' expectations this year and aiming for the 4th seed, you have to be able to beat these teams no matter what.

But yeah... like I was saying, I don't personally believe Bosh to be the best at his position in the NBA. I do believe that he is redefining the position, he was one of the first big men to be more quick then big, and now you have big guys like Nowitzki, like Bargnani (I know he plays mostly in the Center position but he's the closest and best comparison to Nowitzki, hands down), like Bosh, and like Kirilenko (who plays plays in the Small Forward slot, but at 6'9" he's about the same size as a lot of big men, and he moves like a guard) who have this really great touch around the basket, who are fast enough to keep with a guard and big enough to play in the paint. I think Bosh is having one of those break-out years, and I hope his numbers will keep up next year, but I'm just not sold on the idea that he's the best in the NBA, at this time. Give it another season, then we'll see something absolutely astonishing from him I think.

I think there were some good points made by both, but I'm not going to choose between the two of them because of that. GamePoint did make some better points than murj22 in my opinion, but face it, Bosh isn't the best at his position in the league. No way. Now, I'm a die hard fan, through and through, the first team I ever watched on tv was the rap's, it's the only team I've ever liked, I love Bosh, think he's great. But to say that he's the best in the league because of this past season, no. To say that he carries his team game in and game out is a little farfetched as well. Take for instance, the recent Jersey game. Now Jersey sucks, but they won without Bosh. Take the Washington game, again, without Bosh, and the Rap's still managed a win, although a little more contested, a win is a win regardless of how close it is. There's also the fact that Bosh hasn't had a whole lot of experience in the play-offs. Wow... only a 1000 word limit... should've uploaded a video, haha..
