If they have to slow there production of there other teammates with T-Mac then why do it?, it would just hurt your team in all. Also Vince Carter is on a team that made it to the NBA Finals last year and has Dwight Howard on his team and that's why he is playing solid, and your paying him $23 million dollars why not just keep him on the bench and let his contract come off the books then you get cap relief and next year go after a Bosh, LeBron, Wade, Joe Johnson, etc... type of player and like you said there not going anywhere anyway so they will finish with a .500 get a lottery pick and you can add another young talent like Al-Farouq Aminu, Derrick Favors, Patrick Patterson, etc...

Kobe is not T-Mac, Kobe isn't as as selfish and makes more plays for his teammates than McGrady does big difference

If you put Kobe on the Rockets, the other players production would go down because their touches go down, so you're saying you wouldn't want Kobe on your team?
