2010 is the Yankees year. Then, its over. Jeter and Mo will lose the swagger. Pettitte will be done and George will cry. Then, the two pitchers, Phillippe Aumont and Juan Ramirez, that the Phillies got in the Halladay trade will step up. I'm actually excited to see those two and Cole Hamels develope for 2011 and 2012 but, 2010 is the end of the run for the Yankees. For one final year, the Yankees will be on top.

The biggest thing has to be...the Yanks are old, and they're just getting older. Granderson played three games and had three good games, but that's just three games. Doc's always been a solid starter and only pitched nine complete games last year because he was injured half way through the season. The Yankees can continue to spend all the money they want, but the Phils are sticking with what they've had basically for the past two seasons, and they're only getting better...even if this battle doesn't turn out in my favor, I'd still argue that New York will end up falling to the Phillies in the postseason, and that Philly will actually have a better season overall.

They lost Cliff Lee, if they had Cliff and Roy at the same time, it would be a clean sweep for the Phils. Logan makes a good point, Phils couldn't do it last year, that's a clear indication. However, the rotation for the Phils is better than Yanks. Yanks let go Chen Ming Wang, a huge blow since this guy looked like a perennial Cy young contender. CC is a great pitcher no doubt but I won't put my money on AJ, nor an aging Andy Pettitte. You think Joba will step it up? DOn't think so....let's see the rebuttals. I'm torn on this one.

Good arguments by both but I still think the Yankees are stronger with the addition of Granderson. The Phillies gave up a LOT for Mr. Halladay!
