hmmmmm, alright, both rebuttals were pretty damn good too........JH, you swayed my vote, you are correct that Manny is a predictable fighter. Vicious, quick, superb speed and power for his size...but he is predictable. Vote swings to JHabeeb...Now..let's see what happens in this fight!

If I had to put money on the fight, I'd probably go with Money May but I just don't see Pacquiao losing to anyone in that weight class right now.

All fighters fight for the money. Everybody gotta eat. Ask Pacquiao to fight free and see if he does. He demanded a 70/30 split in the Cotto fight and also wanted purse parity in the Hatton fight. I'm not buying into that legacy theory. Legacy don't pay the bills.

Even if we give it to Mayweather that he is slightly faster, it is not enough to make up the difference for the raw fighting spirit that pac man has. Mayweather seems to fight more for money where pac man fights for a higher cause!!!

The thing about Mayweather is that he's able to counter and slip guys that aren't overly agressive like Marquez but when a guy throws in volume and has power behind them, he struggles (IE: De La Hoya). Pacman can also counter and slip punches and I think his incredible speed and power will give Floyd serious problems. I think Money is going to win in the early rounds but Pac will gauge his predictable movements when the fight gets late and start really tagging him over and over. That's just how I see it playing out.

Alright first and foremost...what a great battle between 2 very knowledgeable battlers. You both make phenomenal arguments. I agree with J that Mayweather is a slightly better technical boxer. Mayweather is a boxer, a great boxer, one of the best ever...but Pacquiao is a FIGHTER....he's a fighter first and a boxer second. I agree Mayweather is a better athlete in my opinion, but athletes do not necessarily make great fighters. In terms of argument wise, you both put forth strong viewpoints. I'm going to have to go with AJ for now because i do think it will come down to a battle of wills. Who wants it more...and that I have to give to Manny, Habeeb, your rebuttal may swing my vote I want to see what you guys come up with. Fn awesome fight...and a great battle, applause to both you.
