great fight last night, great fight!! now we need Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. leave no doubts as to who is the pound for pound greatest boxer in the world. let me ask this question, if Pacquiao beats Mayweather jr. should he be considered for one of the all time greats?

god damn, I think taking on Habeeb on a boxing battle is suicide, great knowledge, solid arguments. AJ, I gotta go with J on this one...but i can be swayed by a powerful rebuttal...such as....what happens if he loses to Mayweather Jr, does it tarnish is legacy and status? For the record, i am a Manny fan.

Pacquiao's wins over Marquez and Morales are more impressive to me than the Hatton and De La Hoya wins. That being said, he moved up in weight and fought two very solid fighters (not great) and beat them handily. Is he the best in the world? I don't know. Is he overrated, i'm afraid not.
