listen... there are really no real contenders except Boston. But Boston is getting to old, their top 4 players are well into their thirties and won't be able to keep up with the Lakers. Cleveland has Lebron and yes they will do well in the regular season, but they will F**K up in the post-season because they are going to run into the same problem again like last season... not being able to finish it out. The Lakers on the the other hand have so much talent in Kobe and Artest and that's just 2 of their players. Everyone plays well together, all of them are exceptional basketball players and they're are going to be unstoppable like last season. With Artest who is a best on the defensive and offensive end now joins the Lakers, so their chance of winning the title is much higher than any other team.

lakers lineup and roster is much better than any team. You say varajo i say gasol, you say ilgouskis i say bynum, you say mo williams i say fisher, you say lebron i say kobe you say west i say artest. LAKERS>cleveland. Lakers have more talent than anyone, look at last season, they won with the same group of guys and now they added artest to the mix without losing anyone except ariza.
