I'm getting screwed on a battle because 1/2 the population on this site is from Toronto!

If the raptors lose Bosh, they will be screwed. You can talk about all the players that they're bringing in. But Bosh is a huge part of that franchise, you take a huge piece out of that puzzle. Besides, if he goes anywhere else, he'll be underrated by every team he would join. If he's smart, he'll stay for T.O, but money does talk.

I did say why, and its because they won't win this season. I mean...there really is no other reason. Oh yeah, that whole "them not having enough money to bring in a big name for him to play with" reason as well. And the "knicks will do that" reason. Whatever pete.

i agree that the reports are leaning toward the Bosh man leaving, but that's just conjecture from the US media outlets. What Chris said was that he will explore free agency, which is the right thing to say at this point in time. That does not mean he will come back to free agency. Miz, you make some good arguments, but they're all conjecture, you actually didn't say exactly why the Bosh man would leave the Raps. If they don't win this season...big if, cause smart money says they'll make the playoffs. At the end of the day, the biggest thing for me is the salary cap. It's going down, and it would be better for the Bosh man to stay where everything is status quo.

Derrick Lee is going to want more money, so he's gone. I think he and Nate both signed a 1 year contract and if bosh and wade were to join the Knicks, they wouldn't have the money to sign both lee and nate long term and surround them with better players. On the other hand, Toronto can stick with this same core of guys and be able to sign bosh without giving up some of their key players. And guys like Jose and Bargnani are getting to their max potential. so bosh will be surrounded with players who have talent to win.

that team hasn't done anything with him as far as winning basketball games or adding key pieces. 2 of the 10 best players on 1 team is enough to make them a top 4 seed in the east in my opinion, btw. Bosh/derick lee/nate robinson/d-wade. thats a contender if coached correctly.
