''making it seem like'' meant before he went to denmark it was proposed that he was going for the olympic bid then afterwards it came out that he was there for other reasons. i think its ok for your president to take 1 day out of his year to do some good PR instead of constantly talking about health care, iran and the econamy. give him a break.... are you a republican?

You make it sound like the president actually has some real say in solving world issues. ha ha ha.

you said "while making it seem like..." meaning there was some devious plot beyond just the olympic bid. Like i said, if it wasn't in chicago this wouldn't have happened I don't think, so I dont think it has anything to do with good will towards men or anything of that sort, its a guy from Chicago trying to help out chicago, but helping chicago is only 1/100,000,000 of the problems we have right now, and the amount of time he devoted to it is improportionate (sp?) to the time he spent on other more important issues.

In another medium I would agree, but when it comes to a sporting event, he just needs to concentrate on homeland politics for right now.

forget 10,000 jobs, it's the good will man, americans are looked upon as arrogant around the world. Imagine the good will that Obama created when he made that trip. Being the president of the united states also means that you're the world's greatest salesman, isn't that the mistake that George W. Bush made? It's the details baby, the details

you don't just go to denmark for 3 hours. Its obviously a much bigger process than that. So you're saying that he went for other reasons that most people don't know about? Oops, I must be one of those 99.9% that didn't know that. 10,000 jobs for america is a pittance to what he should be trying to accomplish.
