thanks Zilla.. exactly the point im tryin to make.. if Fitz was constantly getting double teamed, didnt have a Boldin on the opposite side, and didnt have a Warner throwing to him, would he be as successful?? hmmm. But yes, Fitz does have untouchable talent.

Megatron, I hate to disagree with my TFT brother but Calvin Johnson is the most physically gifted WR in the league. Once the Lions sure up their offensive line, find a good no. 2 WR and Matthew Stafford comes into form, Calvin will blossom and put up Fitzgerald's numbers. How well do you think Fitzgerald would do if he was constantly double teamed? He has Boldin AND Breaston, meanwhile Calvin has...Bryant Johnson :S Both are great players, but Johnson is the more gifted receiver.

ha ha ha....I'm just kiddin around, D.Bowe is a talented receiver, but when you're on my favorite team, you have to perform....unfortunately he seems to have an attitude problem, and even worse, no QB or offensive line to help him out. Rumour has it he's on the trading block, no one's asking for him. D. Driver is a great receiver, only reason why I don't include him in the top 4 or 5 is that he's 35 years old now. I think he has maybe 2 or 3 years left. He's got one more run left in him, but I think he's lost a step....still a top notch possession receiver though.

Tough topic, there really seems to be no consensus "number 1" receiver in the league. There are many intangibles, and both of you make very good arguments. I think Donald Driver is very underrated, even though I'm from Wisconsin, I'm not a Packer fan, so take that however you will. I gotta go with Megatron on this one. Johnson simply haven't proven himself, even though he hasn't had the opportunity to do so. I think in this league, you don't necessarily have to have a top quarterback throwing to you to be a top receiver. It helps, obviously.
