I'll be the first to admit that I'm pretty Biased when it comes to Wanderlei, big fan of his during his PRIDE days and still a fan. I began to question whether he was done with MMA myself until the Rich Franklin fight, where it could be argued that Wanderlei won. Also after hearing of his facial surgery which will reduce the chances of cuts as well as improve his breathing, and seeing that he seems to be a bit leaner now has placed a new faith in me as far as Wand is concerned, and I think this would be a great opportunity for both fighters. Leben's heavy hands and granite head are tools that can give anyone trouble, and I think his last couple performances have left something to be desired but I think a fight like this could revitalize the fighting spirit within the crippler.

You're right Megatron, it's been rumored that Leben "barely trained" for his fight against Rosholt. Against Wand, he'd have to prepare harder than he ever has before and Wand would have taken at least 6-8 months off due to the nose/facial surgery he just had. The time off will do him all sorts of good. I think if Wanderlei wants to move down to 185 and be a contender, Leben is a guy he has to go through.

Damn it...Wanderlei, alright, my brain is somewhere else. You make valid points, I forgot about the Cote fight, but I never really considered Cote in Silva's league anyway. My arguments are based around the last Leben fight against Rosholt who has only had 6 fights under his belt and coming off a loss against Dan Miller. I found Leben to be ill prepared and seemed a step behind. Mainly, I'm disappointed in Wanderlei, he was one of my favorites until his entry into UFC, and disappointed me greatly. And so whenever I hear about Silva, I automatically don't want to see it. He disappointed me, I used to be a HUGE supporter of the axe murderer in his days in Pride....alright, you know your sh*t! Man, I would love to get Wanderlei and Leben on here though!! :)we're going to have to do a battle mate....it's pretty clear that you're passionate about this stuff, i'll challenge you directly on a subject I KNOW you're going to put on a good argument.

well unfortunately i really disagree, i stated in a recent video that leben is the one that gave a.silva his title shot against franklin in the first place and if you remember, didnt silva fight patrick cote for the title 3 fights ago? cote lost to chris leben i know styles make fights but personally i think wins speak louder, to say he has no skill is out of order imo and finally, if you're not a leben fan, why would you not want to see him get beat? the odds are rather against him btw, you're still spelling it wrong

Wanderlai, I stand corrected.... and you mistake my motives young man. I'm not here trying to challenge them to a fight, what I'm sayin is that if they were to come here, I'd be happy to have them, and debate with them, because then, we'd have Wanderlai and Leben on the website. Anyone on this site or any other MMA site has the right to be able to criticize any fighter, as fans we have that right. I still say Wanderlai has had his time, and I still say I'm not willing to pay to see Leben But I stand corrected, I don't speak for anyone else.

not to be a bitch, but at least spell wanderlei right megatron and considering you are losing this battle currently, i wouldnt get cocky by saying "we are all thinking the same thing" and to try and be a keyboard warrior by saying they can tell you themselves how they feel on whotheman is just immature i like your vids but wtf was that comment about at all

yes, professor it may be slander, but we're all thinking the same thing. I don't want to see this fight.....heck if Vanderlai and Chris Leben would like to come onto whotheman.com and express their displeasure at my harsh words, I am right here waiting!
