Everyone seems to think that Cain's striking is overated because of the Kongo fight. That fight was a year 1/2 ago and Kongo stepped in on 2 weeks notice. Cain was preparing for Herring who is a much different fighter than Kongo. Yes he caught Cain and those strikes were accurate and on the button and in no way was Cain almost finished. He bounced right back up and got the takedown. UFCEVENTS i wouldn't know the first thing on how to do a tribute video haha

Fame-Us I think you should watch my "Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos Pre Prediction" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os_5f1ijyLE There i mention Cain Velasquez vs Checik Kongo because I watch that event live i Cologne ;) I took Koscheck as an example because he is a more decorated wrestler then Cain, 4 time All-American and he was 42-0 in wrestling. But he got knock out and he is from the same camp... Thank you for watching // Hoffa

HK for your rebuttal. Kos lost to Thiago was an example used against you to demonstrate that striking would defeat wrestling. Rare occasions it does. What I would have liked to see from you was reference to Henderson vs Silva round 1 where Henderson wasn't cocky and chose to out wrestle Silva and easily won that round. Round two Henderson chose to stand and paid for it. Koscheck vs Paul Daley, Daley was unable to prevent the taekdown and as a result was inaffective. Hardy GSP and GSP Thiago Alves would have been great examples as well to utilize.

Future suggestions towards battling. UFCEVENTS there are points you could have made but didn't to strengthen your opinion but regardless you got the job done so I mean what is there to say? The ONLY thing I really was hoping you'd mention which you didn't was Cain getting rocked by Kongo and almost losing that fight as a result. Cain's chin hasn't been really tested and when it was he almost went down. Dos is a superior striker then Kongo and I believe posses more power. I would have liked to see a reference in that fight but I give you respect for using another example in Thiago vs Koscheck. I just think the Kongo Cain would have been more relevant because it contains one of the fighters in this battle. But good work.

LethalTim125LethalTim125 - If you listen to my arguments I clearly stated that he has a punchers chance. Thats how you knock someone out :p . Cain is no technical leggkicker and he showed it against Cheick Kongo. Everyone seems to think that Cain is a divine striker now. If cain wins this bout its gonna be through his wrestling. If Junior Dos wins do promise to do a tribute video to me (UFC EVENTS) ? ;) To predict anything is not to say the obvious anyone can do that...

Pretty much all your saying is JDS has a punchers chance whether you realize it or not. JDS maybe better boxer but better striker he is not. Cain has the punches, kicks, knees..He has all the tools while JDS normally just throws punches. Cain sets up his takedowns very well and has better cardio. Cain is not a 1 dimensional fighter like JDS usually fights. I like JDS but Cain takes this

I remember this, It was the same thing when I predicted that Shogun would beat Machida the first time and everbody went bananas!

the votes appear to disagree with you...perhaps you should debate better x
