Habeeb, yeah dude you look like a boxer, i gotta keep my battles with you polite from now on! lol....now deepsix is another story, this cat always makes my arguments look amateur, so i'm going to have to step it up a notch! ;)

Gotta go with the Mega on this one. There's really only a few areas taking cumulative trauma in boxing - the head and the core.

you gotta give it up for Habeeb for taking this one, it was a hard battle for him to take in teh first place. He actually agrees with me, as you'll in his 1st battle argument.

Boxing, no question. I'm probably the best person to comment on this, I'm a huge fan of both sports. In MMA, once you can't intelligently defend yourself, you're done. Boxers have that opportunity to get up during the 10 count and get seriously hurt over the course of 12 rounds. MMA fighters have one shot and they're done. Tapping out to a submission will cause no serious pain to anyone except maybe a broken arm or ankle or something, while in boxing you're continously taking repeated shots to the same areas of your body.

boxing. I mean...where's the debate? Look at Jeremy Horn. He's been in more MMA fights than most boxers are in boxing fights and he's fine. Granted, just one example. I don't know of anyone who's been in 50+ fights who's not completely injured in some way for the rest of their life.
