Thanks for the comment JB69. Fedor could have milked the UFC and commanded stupid amount of money before this loss to Werdum. he really shot himself in the foot. not to mention the loss of respect from fight fans like myself who believe a fighter should take the fights that come to him.

fedor will fight in the ufc for sure because dana white knows what the ratings will be like for that fights. it will be a UFC record without a doubt. egos will be bruised but both their pockets will be lined with som serious cash. at the end of the day UFC is a business.

nice battle. i'd love to see the emperor battle brock but i dont think its gonna happen. dana may offer fedor enough cash becuase the ratings will be thourhg the roof but i dont think hes gonna offer the type of cash that he offered before. hence i think fedor wont take it.

Good work Evil Genius. I agree with just about every point. This is a classic case of overplaying your hand, the UFC and Fedor's management were in a stalemate for years with M-1 wanting a piece of the UFC's operation and UFC wanting to lockdown the number one Heavyweight. It seemed that both sides just didn't need each other but with that loss Fedor goes from almost being able to name his price to now being lucky to even get a cut of the PPVs. With the pay not being the same whether or not he signs with the UFC or stays with Strikeforce and with his unbeatable mystique gone I see him retiring before entering the UFC
