I actually dislike the Versteeg trade, mainly because Stalberg is one of my favorite leafs. But we also gave away 2 of our prospects and got one in return. I dont know if it was a great trade but it was alright.

To be honest, the leafs are actually a very good team. If Brian Burke keeps on pace and continues to upgrade in skill for the team. You can expect the Leafs to be a stanley cup contender in the next two years. Expect big things from the Leafs!

vancan i made this comment already on sunrays broadcast disagreeing that the leafs will make the playoffs but your argument really doesnt justify the vote. you need to come with some real reasons not just the fact that the leafs havent been in the playoff for a 100 years! i cant stand how the leafs choke every single bloody year AND i dont think they will make the playoff next year either but im still gonna have to give the vote to sunray for the better argument.

i hope to god that youre right but i just cant see any leadership on the ice. the leafs need a real leader on ice and they dont have that right now. new players, new manager, new coach is not gonna make a difference. they had the team to make the playoffs this year and they choked again. btw, you know you can open battles yourself right? just hit start battle button on the battle page or the home page.

Vancan, a little constructive critisism. Even though you're allowed up to 3 minutes, you don't need fill time thinking about things to say. You're a pro now, so I would suggest taking a little time before hand, preparing what it is you want to say. I don't think that Toronto will make the playoffs, but I would have to side right now with Sunsray for some better prepared arguments.
