I should have specified that when I said MMA I meant with the unified rules of MMA which the UFC follows.

good point...mma is not UFC, that's why it could, and should be an Olympic sport, with a few rule changes.

before MMA is even considered they need to shake the blood/violence and glory image that the sports unfortunately been tagged with. i unfortuantley dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon as mma is very misunderstood amongst the fans that watch it.
