Portland stands no chance of winning this series without Brandon Roy
For
Against
With or without Brando Roy, The SUNS are clicking on all cylinders! I wish Brandon Roy was able to play ---as I'd like to see the SUNS play this series, with all Portland has ----NO "Celtic Pride" wishes for my SUNS. We want to take Portland down, with all they have! Even, Clyde "The Glide" Drexler, in his prime, would be facing a tough, tough battle against this current SUNS roster!
It'll be a tough series, but the Suns are up for the battle!
Get well Brandon.
SUNS, all the way!

Yes. With Brandon Roy back on the court, the initial debate IS a moot point. Statistically speaking: Phoenix IS the better team. The series comes down to a battle of the wills. There is no statistical category to determine a team's will to focus, hit their shots, hold off the opposing team, and win the series. 2-2 = 0. Let the series begin!
GO SUNS, GO!!!!!!!!!

The team that is faster to both baskets and defends better has won every game. I predict that the team that gets back/plays uptempo in the remaining games will win those, and the series.
Sorta moots this whole debate to see Roy play. But I'll take it. Game ON.

Brando Roy was activated for today's game, but wasn't expected to play. According to game announcers, Roy, IS going to START in today's game! Allllllllrighty then! THIS is what I wanted to see! Sadly, Brandon Roy, IS still injured ----not 100%, of course.
IT'S GAMETIME!!!!!!!! GO SUNS!!!!!

Getting back to the original question/debate: At this stage in the series (after seeing both teams face-off) My answer is, NO! The Blazers have no chance of winning this series without (or even with) Brandon Roy. Objectively speaking: The Phoenix Suns are the better team of the two, and are leaving it all on the court! GO SUNS!!!!

A follow up to my analysis/comments to my previous post, via: Jared Dudley, himself: "We've yet for our bench to have an explosion and that will come," Dudley said. "Starters are handling their business. They have been here before. They're doing what they're supposed to. Through the playoffs, you're only going to see the bench improve." I called the Suns' overall Game 3 performance "mediocre." Paul Coro of AZcentral, called it: "Sub-par" ..... "Sub-par shooting: The Suns have routed the Blazers twice and still don't have two of their top three reserve scorers in an offensive rhythm yet." - Paul Coro
We're clearly on the same page!
GO SUNS!!!

Following Game 3 - at The Rose Garden: Nice house you have there in Portland. The SUNS certainly felt comfortable. They may have felt a bit too comfy in the 3rd, letting the Blazers back into the game. But from the ashes, "the Phoenix rises." The Suns' main characters, had a weak game, yet this unit's supporting cast of characters, rose to the occasion. After all, even the pine-riders, ARE just as much of this team, as Mr. #1 himself. The Suns know, as do the Blazers ....we can do GREAT damage in YOUR house! The Suns had a mediocre night (with the exception of J-Rich w/42). We held the Blazers to 89 .....in THEIR house. Even with Channing Frye, going 0-7, he still grabbed 7 boards. Our charity-stripe shooting, was less than impressive. The Blazers have the pressure of 'saving face' at the Garden. The Suns only need to play GOOD "Suns Ball", and bring it on home! The Suns are in the driver's seat. The Suns are on a mission The Suns are focused! See you Saturday! GO SUNS!!!
