I realise this is the biggest stage of them all, or at least a stepping stone to it, but if we treat this game differently like any other one, then we are creating a double standard, which ruins the integirty of the sport. And ya I realise they use instant replay for other sports, no shit, but is it Henry's fault that soccer hasn't introduced instant replay yet? NO! Again, I don't condone cheating, but you can't hate on Henry for not getting caught. And if you think Nimz shoulda won, well then you shoulda voted sooner or got more people to watch...LOL...I think I made a very good argument, not that Nimz didn't but I mean it's just one battle, NBD!

i didnt say i hate henry.i said i lost respect for him. the way he was celebrating when he clearly knew he cheated. he said it in the interview after that he thought the game should be replayed. as one of the biggest names of the sport you dont start celebrating like that when know your hand touched the ball.

vancan let me start by saying that im a fan of your videos but you are clearly wrong here. are you kidding me???????? they go to video replays all the time in football and hockey. they should not have allowed that goal. and you say it was blown out of proportion? this is the biggest game in the world. this is the qualifier to the biggest event in sports. you dont think they should have replayed the game|?? nimz should have won this one.

what about every other handball in futbal/soccer history? have u lost respect for all those players who didn't get caught. Like I said in the battle, despite this being a huge loss for Ireland and a clear case of cheating, it's only getting so much attention because of the stakes the game involved. Any breaking of any rule is technically cheating but because Henry cheated and didnt get caught, thats the referees fault..not Henry's. His first handball wasn't even intentional, it was the 2nd one that was and it was in the moment, when you just do something almost involuntarily. I'm not defending him, or encouraging players to cheat if they think they wont get caught, but I really don't see any justification in you now HATING Henry for what happened. You should hate the Refs for messing up on such a huge call in an incredibly important game!
