Well BJ Penn is the fighter that had to make all the compromises when it comes to his losses with GSP & Hughes. Penn became fat Penn so he could fight GSP & Hughes. P4P in my eyes means if God could create an equivalent BJ Penn at heavyweight of what he is at lightweight, he would be a skinny lanky in shape predator. That is what you are debating. Fedor is hurting his own legacy by signing with Strikeforce & not fighting the best out there. He is still the #1 heavyweight cause no one else out there has done what he has done yet but P4P, Fedor has dropped to 3rd in my opinion.

Well BJ Penn choked out Gomi at Rumble on the Rock 4 so comparing those 2, the question has already been answered. BJ Penn vs Aoki would be fun to watch on the ground but Aoki would get punished standing up.

honestly I don't agree with non title fights being 5 round fights. This is a sport & you shouldn't be able to just make the up the rules as you please. You should earn the right to have championship rounds. Boxing used to fight 15 round meaning that 3 rounds were championship rounds. Like MMAInsight stated, it takes the prestige away from title fights. If anything, you can increase the time limit of the rounds but leave the # of rounds as it is.
